How KABLAY Specialist Checks Work

Profile checks help clients choose more confidently, but they do not replace a clear agreement with the specialist about price, timing and warranty. We separate verification levels so clients know exactly what has been checked.

Phone verified

The specialist confirmed a phone number or the number was checked by a KABLAY admin.

What it does not mean: It does not mean ID, license or insurance were checked.

Document verified

An identity document was checked and linked to the real person behind the profile.

What it does not mean: It does not mean the specialist has a professional license for electrical, gas or engineering work.

Portfolio checked

The profile includes real work photos or albums clients can review before ordering.

What it does not mean: It is not a technical audit of every job shown in the photos.

Reviews confirmed

Reviews come from KABLAY tasks, moderation, or a public profile linked to the specialist.

What it does not mean: It does not guarantee the same result on a new job without an agreed quote and terms.

License checked

For licensed trades, a license number or document can be checked and shown separately from ID verification.

What it does not mean: It does not automatically apply to every service the specialist offers.

Insurance checked

The specialist provided insurance documentation if available and relevant to the work type.

What it does not mean: It does not create an automatic KABLAY compensation promise or replace a contract with the specialist.

Why badges are separate

A specialist can have a verified phone and ID, but no license for a specific work type. Another can have a license, but no portfolio yet. KABLAY therefore shows each check separately instead of merging them into one generic status.

Where to check

Badges appear on the specialist profile. Open a badge to see what exactly was checked.

Important

Before work starts, confirm scope, price, timing, materials and warranty terms in chat, quote or contract. For licensed work, ask for the license number.
