A siphon looks minor, but it creates the water seal that keeps sewer odours out of the home. A badly fitted trap means leaks, smells and constant trouble inside sink cabinetry.

Frequently asked
Can any siphon be fitted to any sink?
No. Diameters, height, cabinet space and connection type all matter. This is especially important under tight kitchen sinks.
Why can there still be smell after a siphon is installed?
Usually because of bad assembly, no proper water seal, air draw or a deeper drainage problem further down the line.
