A shower corner only looks simpler than a full cabin. It depends heavily on wall straightness, corner accuracy and floor slope. If the walls or drain are wrong, glass and seals will not keep water inside.
What matters before installation
- The wall angle. Even a small deviation affects the profile and glass.
- Base type. Tray, tiled tray or floor drain.
- Door opening direction. The door should not clash with fixtures.
- Wet-area waterproofing. The enclosure does not replace proper floor and wall preparation.
What the work includes
- Measuring and marking profiles.
- Drilling tile and fixing profiles.
- Installing glass, doors and seals.
- Adjusting closure.
- Sealing wall joints.
Typical prices in Israel
- Shower corner installation — 360–900 ₪
- Custom glass or difficult tile — higher on site
- Slope or drain rework — a separate job
Frequently asked
Can a shower corner be installed without a tray?
Yes, if the floor has the correct slope to the drain and proper waterproofing.
Why does water escape outside the corner?
Usually because of poor floor slope, a weak door seal or glass that does not suit the opening.
