Installing a shower cabin is not just assembling a frame and fitting glass. Level, drain, wall contact and sealing quality all matter, otherwise a new cabin can quickly leak or jam at the doors.
What is checked before installation
- Dimensions and diagonals. The cabin must fit the real opening, not just the catalogue size.
- Wall and floor level. Misalignment affects doors and glass immediately.
- Drain and trap. Access, slope and sewer smell should be checked before assembly.
- Cabin completeness. Rollers, profiles, seals and fixings should be checked first.
What the work includes
- Marking out and preparing the area.
- Assembling the frame, profiles and glass.
- Connecting the tray or drain.
- Adjusting doors and rollers.
- Sealing and water testing.
Typical prices in Israel

- With removal of an old cabin — higher depending on scope
- If the drain or tray needs rework — priced separately
Frequently asked
Can the cabin be installed immediately after purchase?
Yes, if the site is ready: level base, working drain, water connection and no missing parts in the cabin kit.
Does the silicone need curing time?
Yes. After sealing, the shower usually needs time for the sealant to cure before use.
