Bathtub work is usually about weight, drainage, support, wall joints and access to the trap. The job is not only placing the tub, but also checking the base, sealing and future service access.
What this group includes
- Installation. Acrylic, steel, cast-iron tubs and Jacuzzis.
- Removal. Disconnecting and removing the old tub, with disposal agreed separately.

What should be checked before work
- Size and weight. Cast iron and Jacuzzi units need more preparation.

Frequently asked
Can a new tub be installed without redoing tile?
Sometimes, if dimensions match, the drain fits and the walls and floor do not need rework. But the wall joints often still need renewal.
What matters more: level or slope?
The tub should be set according to its design and the waste should drain through the trap. Tilting the whole tub to force drainage usually creates new issues.
