An acrylic bath is light but sensitive to poor support. If the frame is badly adjusted or there are voids under the base, the tub flexes, creaks and loses edge sealing faster.
What matters during installation
- Frame and feet. They must support the base without movement.
- Trap and overflow. Connected before the panel is closed.
- Wall joint. Acrylic can move slightly, so sealing matters.
- Service access. The panel should not permanently block the waste.
Typical prices in Israel
- Acrylic bath installation — 480–950 ₪
- With panel fitting and extra adjustment — higher on site
