Boiler installation is more than connection. The tank must be safely mounted, the support checked, the water assembly built, the system filled and old pipes and valves checked under pressure.
What installation includes
- Choosing and checking the location. A wall, niche, balcony or service area must carry the weight of a full tank.
- Mounting the boiler. Anchors, wall type and future service access matter.
- Connecting water. Cold inlet, hot outlet, check valve and safety valve.
- Commissioning and testing. The boiler is filled with water, air is released and joints are checked.
What to clarify before ordering
- Boiler volume. 80, 120, 150 or 200 litres require different space and fixing.
- Where the old tank is. Removal and carrying away may be priced separately.
- Pipe condition. Older lines often need new valves, shut-offs and flexible connectors.
- Electrical side. If there is no safe ready power point, an electrician is needed.
Work sequence
- Water is shut off and the old boiler is drained if needed.
- The old tank is removed or the new location is prepared.
- The new boiler is mounted.
- The water and valve assembly is built.
- The system is filled, bled and checked.
Typical cost
- Boiler installation on a prepared point — 720–1,500 ₪ labour
- Old boiler removal — separate if draining and carrying are required
- Pipe, valve or mounting rework — by actual scope
- The boiler and consumables — priced separately
Frequently asked
Does boiler installation include buying the boiler?
Usually no. Labour is priced separately, while the tank, valves, anchors and connectors depend on the model and site condition.
Can a new boiler be mounted on old brackets?
Sometimes yes if spacing and strength are correct. But a full tank is heavy, so the technician must check the wall and anchors.
Is an electrician needed for boiler installation?
If a safe ready electrical point exists, the plumber handles water and mounting. A new line, breaker, timer or wiring repair is electrical work.
